Stella & The Stanleys

Bio
Stella and the Stanleys was formed in 1998 by
the folk-rock duo of Lisa Jones and Bill Bromfield (aka The
Cause). During the 1990’s the duo released two critically
acclaimed CD’s of original music and performed at hundreds
of top east coast venues from New York to Nashville.
Lisa has extensive experience performing and emceeing. She
studied voice at George Washington University and with well-known
vocal coaches Lisa Rich and Jim Morris. She brings a strong,
distinctive voice and solid, versatile guitar playing to the
band.
Bill performed with several east coast bands early in his
career and has worked as a studio and live musician in Washington
DC, New York and Nashville. He leads Stella and the Stanleys
with an ear for all types of music, and brings humor, energy
and impassioned vocals to the group.
Jeff is an accomplished guitarist who played for several
years with hard rock bands in Germany. He tempered his style
by studying jazz guitar and has since added blues, pop and
R&B styles to his repertoire. He adds richness and style
to the band.
Mark is a talented drummer and singer who played for a number
of years with the Navy Band. The service bands are very competitive
and only the finest musicians are chosen. Mark is skilled
in many styles and helps lay the foundation for getting down
and dirty or laying back – and everything in between!
Stella and the Stanleys have a great sound and performance
style that earns them consistent rave reviews and referrals.
