Crossfire Band originated in the 1970's, fronted by Butch
and his little sister, Shirley Grant. The dynamic 7-piece
group appeared in the most popular clubs and cabarets in the
Washington area. Crossfire performed as one of the capital
area’s premiere pop/funk bands
for over 15 years. The present Crossfire carries on this successful
tradition..
The finely tuned blend of each member's background has developed
into a tight sounding recreation of the authenticity of the
ever popular R&B, funk, and Motown favorites sure to stimulate
the soul in each one of us. Butch also has a gift for adding
a little natural born humor along the way, putting a smile
on every face.
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Jessie became the band’s
leading lady in 1992 .Together she and Butch Grant have produced
unstoppable teamwork, developing a terrific blend of soulful
harmonies and versatile vocals sure to please even the toughest
critic.
Last but certainly not least is the impressive Crossfire
rhythm section, reflecting Butch Grant’s determination
to accept no less than the best.
Butch Grant's Crossfire Band is not afraid to stand out among
the rest and deliver a lively performance that will make you
shine at your party.

another fabulous performance. The band did a wonderful job
not only performing but also in reacting to and anticipating
